Sunrise Sports Current Pick Record: 6-6
Pick of the Week: Denver Broncos (-3) @ Indianapolis Colts
This Thursday night game will be all about the Broncos defense. The Colts don’t have the offensive firepower to put together drives against a strong Bronco defense. As poor as the Broncos passing attack has been, the Colts secondary has been just as poor. The Broncos are coming off a 23-0 victory against the Jets, and they’ll keep it going against a weak Colts team.
Los Angeles Chargers (-1) @ Kansas City Chiefs
The Chargers have been one of the most impressive teams as of late. With strong pass protection, the Chargers passing game has been great with Phillip Rivers and Keenan Allen. The Chiefs have improved under their new offensive coordinator in the past weeks, yet they won’t be able to match the Chargers in this one.
Dallas Cowboys (-3) @ Oakland Raiders
Dak Prescott has drastically improved from his first games without Ezekial Elliott. After a dominant win against the Giants, the Cowboys will continue to roll against an extremely disappointing Raiders team. With the return of Sean Lee, the Cowboys defense will be able to effectively contain the Raiders en route to a victory.
Atlanta Falcons (-6) @ Tampa Bay Buccaneers
The Falcons are coming off an impressive win against the Saints and should be able to handle a weak Buccaneers team. The Buccaneers have lost three straight, and this one won’t be any different. With the Falcons on a mission to reach the playoffs, they will come out hot on their short trip to Tampa and pull away with a victory.
Upset Pick: Arizona Cardinals (+4) @ Washington Redskins
Arizona is coming off a solid win versus a potential playoff team in the Titans. The Cardinals still have the playmakers on defense to make this one tough for the Redskins. With Blaine Gabbert having more time under center, allowing the game to slow down, he’ll be able to limit turnovers and run the offense effectively. After bad losses to Dallas and the Chargers for the Redskins, the Cardinals will pull off the road upset.
