With the final week of the fantasy football regular season finally here, it is important to strengthen your roster for your playoff run. Here are my favorite players to target for Week 13.
1. Jameis Winston
Going into the season as a projected top 10 quarterback, Winston needs to be rostered as he will make his return from his shoulder injury this week against the Packers.
2. Case Keenum
Keenum and the Vikings continue to play well after a Thanksgiving win against the Lions where Keenum totaled around 300 total yards and 3 touchdowns. He has a promising matchup this weekend against Atlanta in what might be his last start with Bridgewater almost back from his injury.
3. Blaine Gabbert
Hop on the Blaine Train. Gabbert had another productive week against the best defense (Jaguars) where he scored 21.34 points. Arians is sticking with the hot-hand in Gabbert again in Week 13 against the Rams in a must-win game for the Cardinals.
1. Jamaal Williams
The rookie from BYU continues to receive a ton of touches with Aaron Jones and Ty Montgomery still injured. Williams had his best game of the year on Monday night where he had 25 touches for 135 yards and two touchdowns. With a great matchup against the Buccaneers defense and the health of the other running backs up in the air, Williams needs to be at the top of your list this week.
2. Rex Burkhead
Burkhead continues to become a bigger part of the Patriots offense and one of Brady’s favorite targets. He had 15 touches for 53 yards and 2 touchdowns against Miami.
3. Kenyan Drake
With Damien Williams likely out this week, Drake must be rostered because he will receive a lot of volume against the washed-up Denver Broncos. Drake is a good flex option this week especially in half-PPR and full-PPR leagues.
4. Rod Smith
With Zeke out, the Cowboys have not been able to score. Rod Smith has been one of the few bright spots on the team. He had 11 touches for 48 yards and a touchdown against the Chargers. I see Smith getting more involved in the offense this week in a rivalry game against the Redskins.
1. Cooper Kupp
If you are lucky enough to be in a league where Kupp is open, he must be rostered. He caught 8 of 11 targets for 116 yards over the weekend against the Saints. He continues to be one of Goff’s favorite targets, and he will be productive this week out of the slot against the Cardinals.
2. Josh Doctson
Only caught 2 passes for 28 yards and a touchdown in a Week 12 trap game against the Giants, but he has a promising matchup this week against the young Cowboys secondary. Especially with Jordan Reed’s health in question, Doctson will continue to be one of Cousins’ go-to targets.
3. Josh Gordon
THE RETURN IS FINALLY HERE. Gordon has not played in a couple years but looks in shape and ready to go for his return against the Chargers. Arguably one of the most electric players in the league, Gordon must be rostered with wide receiver 1 upside.
4. Zay Jones
The stud rookie is finally receiving the targets he deserves. He had 10 targets last week against the Chiefs and ended up with 3 catches & 33 yards and a touchdown. He is worth storing in deeper 12 or 14 man leagues with a roster spot open as he is one of Tyrod Taylor’s favorite targets.
1. Ricky Seals-Jones
Seals-Jones had 7 catches for 126 yards and 3 touchdowns in the last two games. He is a playmaker that finds his way in the end zone. He is a tight-end 1 for the rest of the year with Blaine Gabbert at the helm, and the Cardinals in must-win situations.
2. Tyler Kroft
Kroft continues to be one of Dalton’s favorite red zone targets as he has totaled two touchdowns over the past two weeks. Though he is pretty boom or bust based on getting a touchdown, Kroft is worth the shot in a rivalry game against the Steelers if you need a tight end.
1. Matt Prater
Prater has 5 field goals and 5 extra points in the past two games. He is a top 10 kicker for the rest of the year.
2. Phil Dawson
Dawson had his best game of the year on Sunday against the Jaguars where he had 4 field goals including a game-winning 57 yarder and 1 extra point. Dawson has a lot of upside for the final 4 weeks of the season.
1. Los Angeles Chargers
Chargers average 22 fantasy points over the past two weeks and play the worst offense in the Cleveland Browns this week.
2. Chicago Bears
The Bears play 4 easy struggling offenses over the next 4 weeks, so they are a good option for a championship run. Week 16, they play the Cleveland Browns, so the Bears are worth grabbing if you have an open spot.
